“Training of National Cadres”

At the request of Zakat House, a Kuwaiti team of male and female engineers of various specialties headed by Eng. Jamal Shreidah Al-Majdali – Head of the Construction Department – Services Department at the Kuwait Zakat House, visited the Kuwait Cement Plant in the Shuaiba Industrial District and selected Kuwait Cement Company as one of the chosen models in the industrial sector due to its important role in serving the national economy by providing the strategic cement commodity in the country, which represents part of the Company’s social responsibility towards the beloved people of the country.
The visited engineers’ team was received by Mr. Saad Al-Suwaidan – Deputy Executive Director for Operations as well as the Technical Directors in charge of managing and operating the plant during 2018. The Deputy Executive Director for Operations gave a brief to the visiting team about the Company, its nature of business, and its purposes. Thereafter, the team was taken on a field tour to the various work sites inside the plant including, the Clinker production kilns, silos of cement, silos for storing the Cement and Clinker, laboratories, automatic packaging of cement, materials’ quality control, method of moving the raw materials by conveyor belt from the port directly to the plant, and other important departments. In addition, the visiting team was furnished with brochures and leaflets about the Company.
